Montgomery Public Schools Transportation

They truly deserve a ZERO stars rating and everyone needs to be replaced! The bus driver for my child's route would close the doors and pull off and leave my daughter. Upon calling to report this, I was told by Joanna McCall that my child must be at the bus stop and not in my car. She never cared to listen to the fact that the bus driver was not pulling into the neighborhood as he should, but instead making the children stand at the edge of a VERY busy main road. It took a whole week of this before McCall listened to notice that the driver was breaking all kinds of safety violations. He then began pulling into the neighborhood, but he creates his own schedule. My child is standing at at the bus stop for over an hour waiting to be taken to school. This in itself is a safety hazard because children are being kidnapped around the world. My child has missed you many days of school due to the terrible bus system that I am facing truancy! I have left two messages for the director and none of them have been returned! The school only states that they have the same issue with the transportation dept and they are not sure what to tell me!

April called at 1:30pm the day before our field trip with a 6:30 am departure time to inform us that they could not drive. We were forced to cancel the trip we requested a driver for, 2 months in advance. My students had been preparing for Convention since November. Just disappointing.

You can never get an answer at this place. As many ppl who work in that building but never a phone answered is ridiculous.

Since school has started back, I have tried to get in touch with them multiple times and no one picks up the phone. I understand this is the first week of school but this causes an inconvenience to the parents when we dont know what buses are children ride because the schools are too lazy to give that info out anymore. I cannot wait to leave Montgomery county.
