Historically, Alabama State University is cradled in a city that was a instrumental contributor to the Civil Rights movement. The campus is nestled in the heart of Montgomery beautiful campus and provides an excellent education to all students. Go Hornets ! Proud Alumni of Thee Alabama State University.

Great teachers! I love Alabama State University! I am a College of Education graduate. My only complaints about my school had nothing to do with my program. My issue was and currently is financial aid. It takes way too long to disperse refunds. This can inconvenience students living off campus and grad students, who need their funds for living expenses. My final gripe is that some of the older buildings need remodeling. They still give an old vibe. In those bathrooms they dont even have dividers for males using the urinals. Many water fountains in those buildings do not work as well. These issues arent present in the newer buildings. Overall if you truly come to learn this is a great school.
