Apparently this provider is in the dark ages, or they are running some sort of game. I have been with many MH providers since the mid 90s and have NEVER seen a provider ask for PAYMENT UP FRONT, and then makes the PATIENT do the legwork and file the paperwork with the insurance company to possibly get reimbursed. This is wrong on so many levels. Think about it. If they don't accept insurance, then they won't be in network for 99% of insurance companies, so most all of the time the patient will be SOL when trying to get reimbursed.
edit: no response to emails asking them to clarify, so yes, a scam.
response to reply: I was told by the person who I talked to when *I called* your office THAT YOU DO NOT ACCEPT ANY INSURANCE, and it is up to the client to file for reimbursement. If that is false information, then you clearly need to train your staff better. I know exactly what I was told, I'm not a liar and not making this stuff up. I have better things to do.
And if it takes a practice 3+ months to reply to a review regarding their business, then how would one be motivated to even consider using their services? The original review was left on 12/13/22.
