Hands down the worst hotel experience I've had. I booked this room in January for a 1- night stay in March. A couple of weeks after booking, I called the hotel and pre-paid for my room. I was never e-mailed a receipt. On the day of arrival, I get a call from the hotel telling me they are unable to charge my card. I explained that I had already paid, but was told they had no record of any payment from me. I asked for an hour to go to my bank and figure it out and was told no, that they would cancel my reservation immediately if I didn't give them another card to charge. So THE HOTEL canceled my room. I called the corporate nunber looking for some record of my payment (besides my own bank account which showed it). Once corporate got in touch with the hotel they magically saw my payment and said there had been a "miscommunication" and they didn't need to charge me anything. They offered to reinstate the reservation, but I had already made other reservations once this hotel had canceled my room so I asked for a refund instead. They refused a refund!!!!! So now I'm stuck paying $210 for this mess of a hotel PLUS the $400 for our alternative hotel which also can't be canceled because it was a day-of reservation. As far as I'm concerned, Springhill owes me a minimum of $210. I already canceled all of my upcoming Marriot stays to avoid any more issues like this. I guess we're a Hilton family now.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the hotel this week. We were there for 4 days / 3 nights and had no issues. Sue, the executive housekeeper, did a great job of making sure we had clean towels daily and communicated when there would be a delay. She even helped reset the keys for my room although technically that wasnt her job. Thanks for going above and beyond to ensure our stay went well. Also, Ms Beverly held it down daily at the front desk and always had a positive attitude when we had questions or needed assistance. Thank you!!

I cannot recommend against staying here enough. I came here for a business trip and have dealt with some serious issues. First, on the first night of my arrival the room service manager entered my room without announcement. He walked in, realized the room was occupied and left without a word. When I called to complain at the front desk, there was no apology. It's a pretty shocking breach of privacy. Having staff enter in the evening, well past cleaning time, without any warning is a major issue. Second, the toilet was broken when I arrived. Thankfully, it was a simple fix to repair that I was able to handle, but needless to say, a working toilet is pretty important. Finally, hair had been left on the shower's soap rack from the previous guest. I informed the guest services, they assured me it would be cleaned, however after two more requests to clean the shower, the hair remained. Gross. Other members of my team experienced similar issues with guest services. Other toilets were broken. Bathrooms had no soap. Rooms had no trash cans. This is really not what one should expect from a Marriot.

We recently stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Montgomery and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel's location is ideal, as it's close to downtown attractions, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. We were there for the Montgomery 5K and the starting line was at the end of the block. The spacious rooms were a highlight of my stay, providing ample space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. The modern amenities and comfortable furnishings made me feel right at home. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend the Springhill Suites by Marriott Montgomery for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of the city. Rooms: The rooms are huge and well furnished. Walkability: Within walking distance to multiple attractions.
