I want to express major dissatisfaction and concern for how I was handled and treated as a paying customer on this past Sunday, May 23. I had booked this makeup appointment on April 15th, which was over a month in advance of the the appointment. I received a text the day before asking if I could come at 10am as opposed to 9am, which was my appointment time. I stated I wouldn't be able to do that. I never received a response to that, so I arrive to my scheduled appointment at 9am. No one was there. I sent two texts, one at 9:05am and another at 9:37am and still no response. I sat until 10:15am, and no one ever showed up. It is now Monday, and I have yet to receive any type of apology, explanation, ANYTHING to help me understand as a customer why the artist was a no-show to an appointment scheduled through HER scheduling system. I think this is beyond pisspoor business practices and really quite ridiculous. In addition to this, I was automatically charged, and when I sent a message regarding that being completely out of line, it was refunded or at least canceled but again, still haven't heard from the makeup artist. So at this point, I am well aware that I was being ignored. All of this is unacceptable on so many levels and from so many angles. I ended up not having my face done for the photoshoot I had that day, and there was absolutely no way to rectify this at the last minute given the bind I was unnecessarily put in.
