image I can honestly tell you there is not enough room to write for everything that has gone wrong . I will start with this . I have been in probate court for 2 years now just trying to get my dads house deeded over to mine and my sisters name . I can tell you I have lost the house thru foreclosure and everything in it . My dad was a 100 percent military disabled veteran and all that was owed on the house was 4,900 dollars . A investor came in because Ed got a useless order that we waited 15 months to get from circuit court for him to tell us later that that order that was given was not valid . I was told today that we will probably loose the case on Monday because I need to get a foreclosure lawyer and probably the best one available. I have a court date 8-19-2022 at 10 am to see if the judge will show me and my family mercy . The truth is if you just need documents printed up I would look elsewhere because based on my experience my family have been treated the worse . I have contacted the Alabama attorney generals office to file a complaint but have not heard back yet . No matter what I have been told that it is only a disciplinary hearing to get to the facts of any misconduct but my family home will still be lost. I have gotten no apology and for some reason all he keeps asking me is WHAT DO YOU WANT ME to do ?? Completely devastated . All my dads medals from Japan , Korea, etc all gone . My dad was the only child so all my grandparents belonging sand family tree !! gone . I am praying others have had this experience or something similar because I will need help bringing him to justice . Please look elsewhere to handle your family needs .

image Ed and Sarah were recommended to us by another attorney. They helped us with probate case and a related civil matter. Ed and his team were very knowledgeable/experienced, friendly and provided excellent service. This is a highly ethical law practice that you can trust to handle your most imported legal matters.

image I phoned April of 2021 for assistance regarding the estate of my relative. I was the only relative so it all fell on me. Since I obviously phoned for guidance I expected a returned phone call semi-soon. Never received one. Never. I called again. Same. So, I phoned probate the kind lady phoned the office for them to please call me because it had been six months from 1st call. I get a chipper Rebecca on the line that gives me her email address to send everything over and etc. I do just that & then some. I am detail oriented yet ignorant to this process. I am promised this and that. I am actually getting upset as I type this experience. Everything that I hoped was being handled was not at all. I was forgotten but on back burner and hopefully go away. No, I need to have this matter handled because I was told he was the best. I saved all of my emails to Rebecca. After never hearing back again. I get a call from I think Sarah. If it is Sarah she is to pick up the work that Rebecca was (NOT) handling. I do all of the leg work. I am also not handling the death - estate - atty - stress of it well at all. In the least I am about to have a nervous breakdown. I am w/o a car and they send a runner to get paper work from me. Paper work I have researched and tried to explain to them the process of it all. I am actually do all of this for them. I phone probate To find out where in the process we are so I can be rid of this insanity. The lady explains that Ed Parrish has put himself as head of estate and the person who is I guess one would say is the executor. So, in a nutshell Ed Parrish is the only person who can execute decisions, handle important and timely documentations, pay bills, outstanding debt & all the glamour that goes with being the man in charge of a deceased person’s belongings, financials, producing timely paperwork for the sole relative and just I would think an overall hard at work attorney appearance. Now I will tell what really went down. I was ignored. I was not treated as if I mattered. I was residing in one of the properties and using my money to keep up both properties utilities until I could not. One property was left to it’s own devices. The property I was residing in (until the estate was complete in the probate world) w/o running water, no automobile and phoning their office for updates getting the same updates or if he decided I was actually worth his time to come up w/a new excuse. He repeated the same statements exactly word for word, should I be lucky enough to have him on the phone. His go to was his buddy Neal Bright, Jr. Funny thing is after meeting w/Mr. Bright he did not wish to return my calls, texts, emails, smoke signals or visits to his listed properties. Mr. Parrish promised me that Mr. Bright was planning to purchase the property that was empty. It did not happen. I was very disappointed that Mr. Bright is not professional enough to say not interested. That Mr. Parrish should not repeatedly state Mr. Bright is taking care of this do not worry. No, my biggest worry was when the property I was residing in and patiently waiting for well over a year to have the estate probated. I left the residence never to return because on Monday, May 30, 2022, Memorial Day, that home burned to the ground. after a night that I hope no one ever has to ever go through, I call the office and I am out through immediately to someone who decides right then and there that the estate is probated and the paperwork will be sent over for my final signature (why I am not sure because as I stated he was the one who was on the estate executor or whatever the hell it all is) and the final check. I ask about the homeowner’s insurance and the taxes for that address that is no longer. He did not pay either. I sent the paper via his courier and I have pictures on my phone of what I gave her and me handing it to her. I was told by someone in the office not sure because Mr. Parrish never spoke to me again, that I was expected to pay both the taxes and homeowner’s since the house was paid in full. I was in shock from the fact my pet’s perished and the only things that mattered to me were pictures of my son and few family belongings. I was in shock. I was told that I was suffering PTSD & grief. It was unbearable. The attorney who had it all allocated to him. The entire estate was legally in his name and his responsibility. He was willing to chance not paying insurance on a home that I escaped w/a shirt, shorts & shoes. He had the estate in his name legally yet did not pay the property tax for around $800. I do not know the amount of the homeowner’s because I have blocked it. How I ha e memorized the amount for the tax on a home burned to the ground is because I keep receiving a bill. I have written the county asking for an evaluation for the worth of a burned up pile. No answer. But I would like to figure out how I can locate someone willing to help me bring action towards Mr. Parrish because he did not pay the insurance on a home that could have costs me my life. As if that were not the end of the story the final check they submitted to me was returned for insufficient funds not once not twice but three times. I was charged for all of those fees. If somehow this is read by someone at that firm. I hope it makes it the rounds. Please know that I am aware that this is a law firm deal w/the dead. I was lied to on numerous occasions, I was neglected, I was humiliated because it was more than I could handle and it was another day at the office for them. I know that I escaped a deadly house fire. But how am I expected to pay for what is left of the existence? What am supposed to do if the city has taken possession of the property (lot) because Mr. Parrish did not pay the taxes? After more than a year of dealing w/that firm I am in a house w/no furniture, basics - plates, towels, bedding - hell a bed. I ended up wishing I never put any kind of expectations from this film flam artist. Slick silver tongue who did not even call to ask if he could help knowing I ran out of a burning house to no where. DO NOT USE this firm. I was garbage to them. Invisible. A nobody.
