Jake Timothy Summney who is listed as the key princpal of South Bay Auto Sales. I will not and do not recommend under any circumstances. This is a buy here pay here car lot. Which is were you buy the car and they finance it in house. I purchased my car through Ontario Grisby; however, Jake Timothy Summney is who I correspond with you when making payments or payment arrangements. I personally, take responsibility for not keeping communication when making payment arrangements through Jake, but in the past him and his wife tone has been very unpleasant towards me whenever I was late or unable to make the payment on time. It appeared they were both condescending in there tone, its to Where I do not communicate with his wife Jessica Summney at all, I only communicate with Jake. I was 31 at the time when I bought my vehicle and prior to that I have never used or operated through a BUY HERE PAY HERE COMPANY. This was the first and the last time. When operating through a buy here pay here company it puts you at a disadvantage because youre not operating through a big operation or company where they are 100s or even thousands of people. Youre dealing with a small business and their egotistical egos. Where there are maybe a minimum of 5 people. I NEVER received receipts where I when I made the payment of how much was being deducted. Only text message where he proceeded to be rude towards me on multiple occasions. In addition, There was no I could determine what my balance or pay off quote was. It left me with the impression he is making and quoting numbers as he goes. A very dishonest and manipulative people they are. Im sooooo much smarter than that; however after listening to Ontario. I did choose to go through with the sale. Overall, I do not and will not recommend this company nor Jake Timothy Summney as a referral for anyone to buy a car from and based upon his character to do business with due to his incompetence. Jake is biased and a very, very, very combative person with internal issues. The conversation on this morning went left where He proceeded to laugh in my face and told me, thats why I had to use a buy here pay here company to get a car 4 years ago. He is very braggadocios and unethical towards me and other people. Jake is incompetent and lack intelligence in his profession and his personal life, because what company or cooperation would talk to people like he did. I will not recommend any of services to be used in the surrounding areas to women or men. These are internal issues that he is dealing with, because who attack and mock people for being behind on there car note. Its important to be understanding and attempt to get to the root of the situation. If I had a husband, he wouldnt have spoken to me like this on today but one thing for sure God always Win.

Just purchased a vehicle from South Bay last week... I am in LOVE! I never thought going to an independent car lot would be so great! They are the most honest car guys I have ever been around!
