Walmart Auto Care Centers

Honestly the best walmart automotive department in mobile. They're always polite and very honest! I've been bringing my car here for years...and occasionally to other walmarts due to emergencies...the dauphin street one is the best by far!

My husband took my car to get an oil change, but he brought his own filter that was superior to Walmart's. We've done this at other Walmarts over the years, without issue. Anyway, the techs were angry and my husband had to get the manager involved, who made them do it. Fast forward a month later, I ordered tires and they shipped to that Walmart for us to have them installed. They were put on right before I went on a long trip. I got to my hotel and my tire lights came on. I have road hazard warranty so I took it to a Walmart up where I am staying. The techs told me that they found beads and it looked like both front tires were a bad batch job. They had to fix it and put new stems on my new tires. They said whoever did them put old ones on. So, my question is : WHY? It seems deliberate to me and seriously considering talking to an advisor about this. I think it was on purpose and if I find it that that is the case, I'm going to deal with it accordingly.

Great oil change service

Do not go here. I would give 0 stars if I could. Ive been getting oil changes at Take 5 since 2016. This is the WORST one. Had me sitting in the bay for over an hour only to tell me they ran out of my filter. Okay fine, Ill come back in a few days. Come back today, I sat and waited for an hour and a half (no one in front of me. Just sitting in the bay). No explanation, no apology for the wait, just lack luster demeanor to go with my oil change. I will not be returning. Go to Walmart or somewhere else Service: Oil change

Complete incompetence at every level. Was forced to go elsewhere after being told I would need to go to an auto parts store to get what they needed to do the job. Decided not to go back. Best decision ever.
