Wurth Wood Group - Mobile

I have been purchasing from Wurth Mobile branch for over 10 years now (when they were still United Plywood). In the past I have had fairly sizable purchases (sometimes as much as $20K in one month. Unfortunately, the experience has not been good and seems to only get worse. First off I want to say that that the drivers overall are great. And Don at inside sales really does work hard to give the best customer service he can. Unfortunately, that's where the good parts stop. I cannot rely on them to do what they say they will do. As an example, I just put in an order yesterday that was supposed to be delivered today (my normal delivery days are Tuesday and Thursday). After waiting all day I finally decided to inquire at 4:00 pm and was told that they are having "driver issues today" and that it would be Thursday. This is a VERY common occurrence. A couple of months ago one of their drivers wrecked the truck so of course my delivery didn't come that day. Not only did they not tell me about the situation until I asked the next day but then it took two more weeks for me to get my delivery. I've also had numerous occasions where they send me basically dunnage that is completely unusable. If you have the option to buy elsewhere....DO!

Don't waste your time with them, they won't answer the phone and customer service is horrible
