Family Dollar

Cashier was extremely rude upon entrance about my small service dog I was holding.I offered to show paper work and she was not hearing me being rude. There is also a sign on the door that says services dogs only was allowed so I took my service dog to the car and as me my husband and my 3yr old daughter go threw the store cashier had the audacity to talk about us white people to another colored customer as if we could not hear. Very unprofessional! We felt highly uncomfortable! Felt she was being raciest with this being mostly colored workers and customers at this store. Yall shld definitely pay more attention to the employees you hire for this is very poor customer service!

This Family Dollar I shopped at on October 3, 2023 was the only one in the entire Mobile area that had everything I needed after going to 3 other lame locations that didn't have anything and one had a rude employee that I had to remind that he was serving the customer and not the other way around. The Springhill location was a breath of fresh air compared to the others I went to. The stocking clerk was excellent and gave me the beef Jamaican patties I was looking for at the other locations right off of the stocking cart instead of giving me a smart remark like the clerk at the Stanton Rd location. The stock clerk at Springhill deserves a raise and any perk he wants. He's good. The cashier was friendly and okay too. Going through the line was kind of slow because we had people who didn't know how to use a debit card after debit cards have been out for over 30 years but, other than that, this is a good Family Dollar location. One of the best I've been to I'm decades.
