Coastal Dental Arts

On 11/06/2023 i went to coastal dental arts to see about implants for bottom dentures after talking to Dr Welch a treatment plan was mad for tooth removal bone graft and for 2 implants the cost was $4,403.00 i payed in full be for the treatment. On 11/29/2023 i went in to get treatment they did tooth removal bone graft but could not put the 2 implants in need to wait to see how the bone graft did. Not sure on date but about 2 months past went in to see on the bone graft and how it did. Was told the bone graft did great and they could put in 3 implants for a extra cost of$3,800.00 this was for the extra implant upper dentures and a temp bottom denture. I told them i don't need the temp or upper so they took them off the new extra price was i think $3,012.00 at this point i told them i don't think i can a ford that much more. They never gave me a new treatment plan ever just the first one that i signed. Seeing i did not have to pay the extra cost till i came back for the denture casting i was going try to save up so we set a date for march 6/2024 to put the 3 implants in when i went to pay the $777.00 extra to be put under the price change to $4,00.00 i asked whats going on seems no one new anything that's when i said ok nothing is going be done till i know the cost they called me back later that day this was on Feb/5/2024 cost is now an extra $4,100.00 i told them i cant do that but let me see if i can get a loan, I could not i called them back and asked to have just the 2 implants we agreed to from the start she put me on hold to ask the doctor she came back and told me he would not put 2 implants in anymore it must be 3 implants or he wont do anything .

I have seen many dentists over the years, some really good, some not. I can say Dr. Welch is the best dentist I have ever used. I had two teeth break and needed extraction and implants. Dr. Welch and his staff got the extraction completed with virtually no pain or much discomfort. The implant surgery was done with the same professional and efficient manner. Again no pain and only (expected) minor discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Welch and his staff to everyone. They are cordial and professional in all aspects of their treatments.

I love Shane Welch!! He needs better women working in that office , Courtney is nice but she was rough on my mouth and Deanne at the front desk has a horrible nasty attitude . Shane Welch is a great dentist i just wish he had better women to support him.

I don't care for going to the dentist unless it is Dr. Welsh and his staff. They could not be more professional and friendly!

My son has always loved going to the dentist..I know!! Dr. Welch and his staff are top tier. Welcome us by name and service is always explained throughly and we are in and out. We recommend for the entire family!
