My sales rep Maddie was amazing. She made my buying experience so pleasant. I usually hate dealing with car dealerships but Land Rover Gulf Coast is a wonderful business. Everyone is very knowledgeable and professional. You are greeted and welcomed the moment you walk through the door. They had the vehicle I was interested in purchasing pulled up and ready to test drive. Both Maddie and Mason who is the Director of Finance were wonderful to work with and made this a very positive experience. They explained step by step the process and answered all questions. This is a no haggle transparent business whose staff are not only knowledgeable and professional but very friendly. I love my Land Rover and highly recommend Land Rover Gulf Coast.
Updated review: I purchased this vehicle back in June of 2023. The day I bought the vehicle I did not even make it to the interstate headed home when it started jumping and spitting and sputtering and would not get up to speed, so I called back LR of Mobile and spoke with my sale rep, Mattie and informed her there was something wrong with the LR. She met me outside the dealership with a loaner pulled up and said not to worry they would figure it out. A week later I received a call that it could be picked up, that the shop found nothing wrong with it. A few months later I drove to Florida, it did the same thing a couple of times during the drive. I had to bring it back to LR of Mobile to get a washer fluid tank and hose replaced since it wasn't replaced prior to me purchasing the vehicle and I told the service department at that time again that there was something wrong with the LR. Was told they would drive it and look to see what was going on. Once again I was told there was nothing wrong except they noticed it shifted a little hard between 2 different gears, (which doesn't sound normal) Even the dealership manager spoke with me and said her service dept checked it out and ran it hard on the interstate and found nothing. Fast forward to February this year, driving back from Gulf Shores and it started spitting, sputtering and idling rough then the check engine light began to flash then went off, before I reached my home the check engine light came back on and stayed on. Monday morning my boyfriend took it to auto zone to get the codes pulled. It pulled codes P0303-Cylinder 3 Misfire detected, P0302-Cylinder 2 Misfire detected, and P1315-Persistent Misfire-catalyst damage. We changed the spark plugs and ignition coils as suggested by the codes pulled. Afterwards it was still doing the same thing as prior. Called LR of Mobile and told them I was bringing it back and that I have continued to have this problem since the day I bought it. It's now been at the dealership a month. They called me after having it 2 weeks and said it was fixed, that they replaced the CVVL(continuous variable valve lift). Picked it up and did not even make it to the first red light from the dealership when it died. When I cranked it back up it was idling so rough that the tach was jumping up and down, it continued to try to die and when I accelerated it, it was doing the same thing as I brought it in for. Called Reno and said I'm bringing it back, it's still not fixed and doing the same thing. He did get to hear how it was idling and how rough it was running when I pulled it back in the shop. I don't understand how you say it's fixed, yet did no one drive the LR after the repair to even see how it was running?? I have nothing bad to say about the sales dept or even Reno, because they have all be very polite, but I am aggravated because first off, there should have been nothing wrong with this vehicle the day I bought it. I shouldn't have had to bring it right back just moments after the sale and driving off the lot, (if it had indeed been serviced and checked out prior to putting it on the lot for sale). And now to have it in the shop for over a month and still not fixed. I really am not happy with this vehicle and don't even really want it back now! Very disappointed in my purchase!
