The lady working the desk at this place was the sweetest, most helpful, kind person to my boys and I. She knew a lot about the museum which made the tour that much more interesting. There is a shop located in the main entrance but they are not affiliated with the track and are not allowed to sell any nascar licensed merchandise. The price is great and we only spent about an hour on here but definitely enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. A ton of Dale memorabilia as well as one room dedicated to honor him, his dad and his sons racing careers. The wrecked cars come withe full stories of the crashes.

I loved seeing my heroes of the past. Their cars and trophies were like being a 15 year old again. Take your time so you don't miss anything. The Dale senior room was tucked away, and I'm so glad I didn't miss it. The lady in the gift shop was so kind and sweet. I loved talking to her while waiting for the track tour to start. The driver of the track tour had been going to the racetrack as a child and had some amazing stories and knowledge. I highly recommend both.

right off the highway and well worth the price of admission. cars and memorabilia you just won't see any place else. The Dale stuff alone was amazing. seeing some wrecked chassis up close was pretty cool too. hot rods of legend! super friendly ticket lady deserves a compliment for her hospitality.
