My husband and I went to McCaig's to rent a room for the evening. There is a tornado coming into town. Normally the rooms are 60.00 and they tried to charge us 110.00 to stay for one night. Then decided they were going to put us all the way in the back of the hotel. We decided against taking the room. We feel as though they are trying to take advantage of the situation and are price gauging because of the bad weather. We could go across the street and get a top notch hotel for the same price. You tell me? This hotel is run down and trashy and is not even worth 50.00 a night much less 110.00.
