Summer has managed my rental property for over 3 years. She is always on top of any random situations that arise. I've had a few maintenance problems, and she knows the right people to fix anything. Summer is honest and fair, not just with me but, with my tenants. She goes out of her way, like working on Christmas Eve, if needed. Summer has been a real estate agent for almost 20 years in Huntsville. She knows the Huntsville market, both, with buying new homes and rentals. Summer knows how to price your rental appropriately to get max return. You won't be sorry if you let Summer Shelkey mange your rental properties. It's a win!

Summer Sheckley is the most uneducated and unprofessional slum lord Ive ever had the misfortune to lease from. The review under the name Lynn Olguin is actually the home owner of the property I leased, as well as Summers best friend the home that we leased was in such bad condition that the city of Huntsville sued the homeowner Lynn. The outside conditions did not get fixed until two weeks before we moved, which was after eight months of trying to get things fixed and us paying $1400 a month in rent for a home that should have been condemned. We went without AC and heat 4 times for four days or more at a time, if theres ever an issue over a weekend, it will not get fixed in any type of rush . The homeowner harassed us for the entirety of our lease, and even our extended family, even though I emailed Summer and the homeowner multiple times about no longer contacting us. Contractors were sent to the home to walk around in our backyard and in our shed that we were also renting while my children were outside and we were not given any notice that these people were showing up and then we were only given 48 hours notice that major construction was going to be going on for the last two weeks of our lease while we were moving- which entailed a group of non-English-speaking people who not only got into our personal belongings, but actually used my husbands tools to do the job AND we were never compensated for the electricity or water that was used during the repair. People from the city came by the house to ask about the things inside the house that needed to be fixed and I made sure to let them know that there are multiple holes in drywall throughout the home, there are multiple holes in the floor on the second level because there is no subflooring under some parts of the vinyl, some of the closets are not finished inside they are just plywood. There are outlets missing, which is a code violation and there are plumbing and wiring issues as well as animals living in the attic and mold, growing throughout the home, including on the carpet that is about 20 years old and has probably had sewage on it multiple times because even though we cleaned it upwards of 10 times with a rug doctor, it is still disgusting . Anytime that we reached out to Summer for any type of professional advice or help we were met with nothing but uneducated nonsense and excuses. And lastly, after all of the harassment that we endured from the homeowner and making it clear, we wanted no contact from her Summer and Lynn both showed up on the property under our carport without warning on a Sunday afternoon while me and my family are trying to enjoy dinner. If you want to rent from a slumlord that will not fix any issues and allow your family to live in filth. This is the property management company for you!

When arriving in Huntsville after living up north I found SPM and called on rentals. Summer was very very helpful in finding me exactly what I wanted and needed for housing. She went beyond and above to make sure everything was perfect for our move in I did not have to worry about cleaning up after the previous tenant because it was very clean, carpets were shampooed appliances cleaned, etc. When Ive had maintenance issues she has acted promptly and got someone here with in the 48-72 hour window, which is great; most property owners or rental companies take their time getting things fixed. I am very happy with the professionalism and responding to issues that this company provides. I would let anyone know what a great manager and crew this company has and to rent from them. Thanks SPM

I dont know what half these ppl talking bout on here but SHIDDDDDDDDD!!!!. SPM/SUMMER has been noting but a BLESSING to me and my family of 5 and counting. Been with them for 3 yrs now, and boy oh boy have we have some rough times on our end. SUMMER has worked through them all and I mean ALL. Now I want put our business out there but for most part - SUMMER and SPM team will work with you long as you talk to them and let them know situations from up to down in and out & maybe a side to side, LOL JK but yes i highly recommend SPM/SUMMER. For anyone looking to rent or buy they are some very GOOD ppl and understanding. Price may be a tab bit steep but HELL. thats anywhere you go now a days at least they will work with you and make sure you have a roof over your head and not homeless. Now if you need a place to unpack your clothes lay your head and cook a meal with heat and a.c go talk to these ppl they are very -UNDERRATED- out here. I know several others who rent from them and have no complaints at all.
