I recently represented buyers at the DSLD community in Hickory Cove at Mountain Preserve, and Charis Cartron was their loan officer. Charis went above and beyond for my clients, and ensured they were able to close on their beautiful new home while also receiving all of their incentives despite a delayed closing. Her years of expertise came in handy when she had to resolve issues not of her making, and she was truly and advocate for my clients. My clients love their new home, and Charis was an absolute Rock Star team member in helping them get to closing.

DSLD is a joke of a company and the mortgage department is the worst part. If you go through the mortgage process with them, you are going to regret it. Even though its a terrible practice, luckily they sell off your loan to an actual mortgage as soon as you close. If not for all the incentives they offered for going through them, I would have never used them. If I could go back and do it again, I would just pay the extra money to go through an actual mortgage company or bank and different builder and save myself the trouble and headache of dealing with such an inadequate company.

Feel there was an effort to deny me the loan even though my ratios was within range. The Sales Team was awesome but the Finance team warranted DSDL a one(1) star; possibly a 1/2 start.
I plan to submit my concerns to VA.

We were first time home buyers and we did not know much at all about mortgage loans or the home buying process. Ms. Sophia Zartuche was very helpful during this time and answered all of our questions no matter how crazy they were. She was very kind and professional when she communicated with us while navigating her busy schedule with other perspective customers. It was a very good experience during a stressful time of ours lives.
