Hilton Garden Inn Huntsville South/Redstone Arsenal

The floor wasn't vacuumed what seemed like never, I found ladybugs all throughout the room, climbing on my bed... Behind the chair, just a mess!!! The manager was going to have the floor vacuumed, but it didn't happen. I had to deal with my brother's funeral and, on top of that, worrying about ladybugs all over the floor! 3 days of this torture!!! Then, on top of that, I had to drive by to ohio without much rest. Rooms: Nasty!!! Ladybugs were all in the room!! Under as well as behind the chair. Climbing up on the table and on the side of the bed!

Was very disappointed when I checked in, I was not told the hot tub and restaurant were closed when I booked my reservation. Also there is major restoration work still being done, stacks of construction materials on pallets in the parking lot and rolls of carpet in the lobby . Kudos to the General Manager she was very apologetic and offered me a full refund or assistance in booking a room for me at a nearby hotel. Guess I will try to book again in few months. Warning they do offer a breakfast but it is not Free. Noteworthy details: It was difficult to find the hotel from the highway the only sign I could see to turn in was the Hampton Inn

Was significantly annoyed that they sent an email a day or so before arriving, stating that there us construction going on. The room we got smelled like chemicals from the freshly installed carpet. Then, the "breakfast " was $15 per plate for only a couple of choices on the buffet. The hotel was tore up during the construction and only had 1 operating elevator while repairs were going on. Wifi didn't work for the 3 days we were there. They REALLY should have discounted the room rate as it was a miserable experience.
