Providence Family Dental

I have been using Providence Family Dental for my dental care for over 10 years now. I have been seen by both Dr. Mayo and Dr. Persaud and have been extremely pleased by the treatment I received and their care, concern, knowledge, and professionalism. Their dental hygienists and office personnel are also awesome. All around, a great dental practice which I honestly and wholeheartedly recommend.

The Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and front office folks at Providence are really wonderful. Highly competent, but also very caring, happy people. I have been through half a dozen dentists over the years and they are the best. Special thanks to Tina. Her professionalism is only exceeded by her kindness and good cheer!

Love this location. Dr. Mayo and Amy are the best combo for dental cleaning you could ever dream up! Everyone here is so professional and kind. They all make me actually WANT to go to the dentist

My wife and I have been going to Providence Family Dental for at least 10 years. It has always been a great experience and Drs. Mayo and Persaud are great dentists. The hygienists are fantastic and personable and I feel like the business keeps on top of the latest technology in the space. Why four stars instead of five? The business either was recently sold to a firm or outside investment has come in, and the nickel and diming is starting. I wanted to give time since my last appointment to point it out, but it happened today in an innocent way. I was asked if I wanted a fluoride treatment and I said sure. I was not asked if I wanted a fluoride treatment (which was a small amount of spray foam) and it was going to cost me $25 out of pocket. Edit: it appears that the entire bottle costs $15-$20, so $25 for a dollop is egregious. In summary, the people are fantastic. I plan to keep going as long as the new business practices dont get in the way of the service being provided. But these days, buyer beware. At my next appointment I will be clear that I want only what is covered under my periodic cleaning and to disclose if something is going to cost me more.
