        Knowledgeable, but rather than listening to me, my problems, or my life story up to that point, he spent half the session coaxing me into joining his Episcopal church.

        Jim is full of compassion, warm and knowledgeable. He often suggestions reading and exercises that I can work on between sessions. He does share about his religious activities in sessions, as another reviewer mentioned, but I have never felt as though he was trying to influence me to convert or pursue. In fact, he's suggested readings from many other spiritual view points to help with relaxation. I recommend him highly but I can see that he wouldn't be the right fit for everyone. He is for me.
