        I work just down the street from here and we try to make it there for lunch at least once a week. Jerk chicken is great, the queso is some of the best in town, and they have a large selection of Mexican and island drinks to pick from. Not much more you can ask for in a great restaurant. Really hope they are able to stay around a while.

        Lets start with location In historical Lincoln Mill close to downtown. Next the food portions - huge. Enough for 2 people. The food - the place smells amazing. The salsa - fresh ingredients and chunky with a little kick. The Jerk Chicken was smoked and covered in a homemade jerk sauce with all the Jamaican spices including those scotch bonnet peppers. Nice kick! The sides - the coconut rice is light and fluffy with black beans. Another side is the Jamaican steamed cabbage sauted but still has a little crunch and goes perfect with chicken and rice. If youre a foodie like me, you have to try the Mexibbean Island Grill. Im trying the tacos next. Ill let you know

        I found a little bit of Miami right here in Huntsville!!!! I started talking with a Jamacain accent as soon as I walked in! Right now, they are only open on Saturday, but soon open Mon-Sat 11-8pm. The jerk chicken is perfectly sauced and portioned! It is served with fresh steamed cabbage, coconut rice and peas, and fried sweet plantains!! I also got the Rum Punch, it dont tell Ma!!

        We came for lunch on a Saturday, and had a delicious meal. John was great and talked us through the menu. We got jerk wings, lemon pepper wings, and a jerk chicken plate with cabbage, peas and rice, and plantains. All of it was perfect. The jerk chicken was sweet and spicy, the wings were crispy, and the cabbage had a wonderful, savory flavor. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area. And if youre out of the area, its worth the drive. The picture added is the leftover plate after two adults ate the plate. Portions give you a GREAT bang for your buck.
