    If I can do no stars I would! Ive been here for 2 years coming in with heat/air issues which was completed by maintenance. Since new management came this place has been a mess for a year. Meanwhile rent continues to go up, but we are currently living this way. Trash is ALWAYS outside the dumper breezeways A MESS there is no noise in the area its the dirty environment and poor maintenance I wouldnt recommend. Always have plumbing problems or either gas issues.

    I have lived here a long time, nearly 10 years. I moved in right after the remodel. But in the last 4 years or so there has been a terrible decline. The buildings are not maintained. Work orders take weeks to months to complete. The laundry room in my building has been completely out of order for 2 months, but they just keep saying the vendor is onsite and will fix it todayevery time I call about it. Management should just be honest and say they have no intention of fixing it. People have junk piled up on their patios which is against what the lease says, but its not enforced. Building numbers on some buildings are blocked by shrubbery. Most of the landscaping is dead from the freeze we had 2 winters ago. Water is turned off for unforeseen circumstances at least once a month. Im fairly certain there is a mold issue. I signed another lease because I love the location. Its convenient to everything. I had hopes that circumstances would get better. Unfortunately that isnt happening, and I am looking for a new place. For what I pay in rent the building shouldnt be literally falling apart.

    We moved in 3 months ago and we hate it here. If youre looking for somewhere to rent from, I suggest to spend the extra funds to get you something better. There has been a problem here from the first day we moved in to the apartment that was so called ready to move in. We didnt have hot water the first few nights, the water turns black at least once a week, and they cut water off here without giving any notice. We have had issues with roaches since the first day as well and even with pest control, it still has not helped. Whatever they are spraying to get rid of the bugs seems to be attracting more than killing. When it comes to maintenance request, they get it done on their time and do not care. We have been missing an air filter for our ventilation since we moved in, we have informed them and still nothing. There is only one individual that works in the leasing office named Joel Shepherd and he is the only person that seems to care and try to get our requests taken care of. Everyone else in the building is just there for a paycheck and do NOT care about the residents. If I had to money to break my lease and move I would in an instant but we will not be here after this lease is up! Fern Parc may look nice on the website but its a roach infested dumpster fire apartment complex. I wish I didnt have to put 1 star but that one start goes to Joel Shepherd. Dont walk.. RUN anywhere else!

    This is the worst apartment/ townhome Ive ever lived in by far!! Our place was disgusting when we moved in with bugs in our fridge and all in our house. Everything is broken and they refuse to come fix it. We didnt even have fire alarms when we moved in. The pool is always either gross or closed. All the pool furniture is rusty, rickety, or just plain broken. The trash compactor is broken at least once a month and FILLS up with trash in front of it constantly. This whole place is trashy as can be. But trust and believe they will nickle and dime you for everything like an HOA would. Dont rent from here you will regret it. We cant wait for our lease to be up.

    I would recommend spending more on rent and living somewhere else. I cant wait until our lease is up so we can get out. We have cockroaches constantly and when we put in a request for pest control, that were paying for, they say its completed even though no one comes and sprays. Not only that theyll just leave maintenance requests open and not look at them. So basically if anything in your apartment is broken when you move in its not going to get fixed ever. This place is just awful. Update: This is really one of the worst places you could live. Please just spend the extra money to get a better place, its definitely worth it. There is a lot wrong with these apartments. One morning I woke up to a mouse in our apartment. I got pest control to come and they just put down rat poisoning, (which I did not want because I have cats) not only that she broke our utility closet door and said she would tell maintenance to fix it. There was no surprise though when they never showed up to fix the door. Maintenance is a nightmare. We had something clogged in our garbage disposal so we put in a request. Even though they did come and fix it, they pulled the clogged pieces and put it in our crockpot and just left it on our counter for us to take care of. I complained about it to the office but of course the manager just looked in the computer and said they didnt leave their name so Ill just have to figure out who did this obviously she did not do that. Now that Ive mentioned the maintenance issue, these apartments are really not suitable to live in unless necessary. The bathroom ceiling is basically falling apart, our cabinet doors have been broken since we moved in, our stove has been broken since weve moved in, there is mold (also 100% black mold in these apartments no doubt about it) coming out of some of our vents, and there is no microwave. How does an apartment building not provide microwaves? Also there are a lot of extra costs that you will have to pay for. Instead of having a standard security deposit, they do jetty deposit. You dont get this money back which is insane to me, so add that onto your rent + a laundry load (wash and dry) is $4 together. So once these add up, you might as well get a better apartment then paying all these extra costs for the slums. Unless you have to live here I do not recommend it. Another thing about this place that is absolutely ridiculous is the Jetty Deposit. It is the worst thing on this planet to deal with jetty deposit. To cancel it because youre moving you have to show proof that youre moving and submit a claim that youre moving. This is just a ridiculous thing to do instead of a security deposit which would be so much easier. This place angers me so much. I absolutely hated my time here.
