the lady who deals in purses and leather goods doesn't know what she's doing. have an authentication card for my bag, and was appraised by another secondary online authenticator at $700. she tapped around on the computer for about five minutes, then told me since they were going online for between $250 and $800 in the condition mine was in, the best she could do was $130 since they also keep 33% of your profit. so, how is a bag that runs on the low end for $250 only worth $190 before they take "their cut"? knowing well they'd turn around and sell it for more than the high quote of $800! i would say just do a private sale online if you can with a designer bag.
