Lendello Mortgage

Our mortgage broker. Nick Veres, was supposed to have 8 years of experience. He acted like he just passed his mortgage broker license. He did not return phone calls nor emails in a timely manner. Nick did not lock in the rate for a few days, causing our rate to go higher. We have no idea how many lenders and what terms his lenders were offering. Nick placed us with Hunt Mortgage. Hunt admitted to sitting on our file. A week prior to closing, Hunt asked for 15 documents for their approval file, with continuous requests up until AND including day of closing. We did not receive a finanl closing statement until about an hour prior to the closing, with a wire for the down payment still needing to be sent to Title company. Now that we closed the loan about two weeks ago, we have not heard from Nick, Lendello, nor Hunt thanking us for the business. The whole experience has taught us to NEVER to business with Nick Veres, Lendello Mortgage brokers, nor Hunt Mortgage ever again. Buyer beware.

From an inexpience mortgage broker, Nicholas Veres, to the loan processed, Mindi at Hunt Morgage and the in-named underwriter, they were terrible. Nick did not timely follow up with phone calls nor emails. Nick did not lock in the rate as we requested, but waited a few days until the rate went higher. The Hunt Mortgage people admitted to sitting on our loan file, only asking for 16 items mere days before the scheduled closing date. Then even asked for additional documents on the day of closing. The actual closing statement was provided only an hour before the closing while they expected us to still wire funds for the down payment within this short window. We will NEVER use the mortgage broker nor Hunt Mortgage ever again.

We closed on our house a month ago thanks to Nick! There were unexpected things that he helped us navigate and truly set us up for success with our first home purchase! Grateful for their communication and willingness to fight for their clients!
