Dr Webb and her entire staff are the best! My crown became loose in May 2023 while working out of town about two years after installation (it was my fault as I completely forgot eating sticky candy is not recommended) and after a local dentist in Massachusetts gave me a runaround, Dr. Webb's staff immediately scheduled a visit and quickly took care of everything in perfect order. Thanks again for over 15 years of excellent care as the entire team at Homewood Family are simply the best in Birmingham!!!

I recently visited Homewood Family & Cosmetic Dentistry as a new patient and was thoroughly impressed.  I have been searching for a new dentist in Birmingham after an underwhelming experience with another dentist, and I am so happy I was referred to Dr. Vail.  I came to Dr. Vail in hopes to repair/expand a filling in order to close a gap between two back teeth.  Dr. Vail is incredibly knowledgeable and talks you through the procedure before and during its execution.  I also enjoy her personable nature with her staff; it is evident that they are friendly beyond the surface level.  I highly recommend her and am happy to have found a primary dental provider.

So earlier this year I had 2 insurance and ended up owing $25 for a cleaning.  Then later this year in August I went for another cleaning and received a bill for $118 dollars.  Now in August I didn't have the second insurance.  It's not my job to deal with insurance claims. My policy says checkups and cleanings are 100% covered.  Only here does it seem that for a cleaning you have to pay over $100 for a routine cleaning with dental insurance.  I paid the bills both of them.  I will not be returning and my feeling is my insurance and I paid for this last cleaning.
