Harvest-Monrovia Water Authority

So many complaints about this organization so I wanted to add some praise! We experienced a water leak after some major landscaping. Within a few days, we received a notice in our mailbox and a personal call from the Water Authority to notify us of a potential problem. Though we already knew we had a problem and were working to resolve it, we greatly appreciated knowing that someone at HMWA was looking after us. Had we not already known, this communication could have saved us hundreds of dollars! Nicely done! Thank you!

Provides services well enough, but they charge a fee for using credit card or check. The office is in the middle of nowhere, so paying with cash is a pain.

Why are the Board of Directors able to keep increasing prices?? Do they even have the same rated we do?? It's ridiculous that a small family pays over $50 a month for water... and I have a septic tank so it's not like it's a sewer cost too!!!

I got good customer service on the onset of setting up my water account and good service when I just closed it. I didn't have an irrigation system but watered my nice lawn during the drier times I had to and also washed 2 of vehicles and the water bill was never that high. Ranging from 20 -40 bucks a month. Very reasonable and high quality water from one of the best wells in the area I suspect that many of the low ratings are due to people who were habitually late on their payments. They could find money for pizza, video games and even weed but somehow paying their water bill was very low on their priority list. Maybe I'm wrong. One thing that would be an improvement though is to use their name when you call them. It is not professional to answer without giving your name.
