Maynor & Mitchell Eye Center

A few years ago, I was misdiagnosed by a different provider as only needing glasses. Thank God I got a second opinion. Dr. Ramsey at Maynor and Mitchell in Guntersville saved my eyesight. I had serous fluid in my eyes that was pressing on my optic nerve and had partially detached my retinas from chronic prednisone use for a different medical condition. I was legally too blind to be driving. It was affecting my ability to work (I work in healthcare) because I could not read medication vials. Thanks to Dr. Ramseys aggressive treatment and immediate referral to a retina specialist, I can see and I can still practice medicine. I wont go anywhere else for my eye care and I refer everyone I know to Maynor and Mitchell.

If I could leave less of a star I would the staff, doctors and techs treated my 89 year old grandmother like a toddler. If you are still planning on going to a eye doctor do not go here. They are inhuman.

Dr Scott diagnosed me with a hereditary eye disease after 2 other eye doctors missed it.

I saw Dr. Salter for a checkup after having cataract surgery at a facility in Gadsden several years ago. The wait was not long and the Dr. and staff were professional and kind.
