Hampton Inn Gulf Shores

This has been the worst hotel service of my life. No one was helpful, and they appeared aggervated that we wanted them to do their job. My toliet did not work and I had to plung it myself. Upon that failing, everyone in my room had to go downstairs to use the toliet. With these issues, they promised to comp my room but failed to do so. They also would not give me a receiptfor that nights stay.

Upon entering the room, it smelt like a wet dog kennel. There was hair in the bathtub and toilet. Dirt was in the bathtub. My friend is allergic to dogs, and I honestly thought we would be at the hospital. There was a dog in the hotel with no leash nor collar that ran up to us as we were leaving. We both have no problems with dogs, but a severe allergic reaction could have been serious. It would have been nice to know all of this beforehand, other accommodations may have been found for the event. The carpet was horrible and was honestly scared to get in the beds. Was told 2.5 miles from the event but was at least 20 minutes from it. Glad the traffic was medium. NO NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AND THE CHARGE FOR THAT WAS RIDICULOUS. If the place wouldn't have all the issues the price would not have been an issue. But had to clean the room the best we could before we left foe the event.

What a hotel.on vacation should be. It made our trip that much more enjoyable. Rooms: Rooms were neat and clean Nearby activities: This place is located about a mile from the beach and all restaurants on the strip.
