If you need chemotherapy infusions, iron infusions, or cancer or hematology treatment, I thoroughly recommend this crew! From the reception desk to the lab, this group projects a positive and caring attitude. Dr. Castillo is a compassionate, extremely knowledgeable provider who gives you honest and thorough answers. He and his staff pray over their patients and their care of each of those patients at the start of each day. They exhibit caring acceptance of everyone equally, without bias, reflecting God's love through their compassionate care of each patient. Dr. Castillo's complimentary staff of Nurse Practioners is thorough and responsive. The infusion nurses are shining examples of the nursing profession. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. If they ever have a bad day, you'd never know it. They are cheerleaders, confidantes, educators, and observant caregivers. They are a lifeline for us fighting that evil monster cancer!

I have a friend who received care at HOAA for cancer. When he found out his MD, Dr. Anakwah, was leaving, he wished to follow to her new practice as well. The new office has spent almost 3 weeks trying to get his records faxed to them to continue his care. HOAA still has not faxed them. We were told that HOAA was holding several patients records or at least delaying because they were trying to leave. These patients have cancer and need their treatment. It is the patients right to choose a provider and according to HIPPA , the patient should have access to their records. Very unacceptable behavior which may cost patients lives.
