Family Practice Associates

After 28 years with them I lost confidence in their ability to care for me. I had to go to a doc-in-a-box three times in the last year because I could not get in to see a doctor or a nurse practitioner. I called them 5 times to find out why they could not send a prescription to my pharmacy, the same one they have been sending prescriptions to for over 20 of the 28 years. Their service has hit rock bottom since 2of the 3 doctors in the practice have gone to MDVIP practice. The admin folks up front have been terrible for over 5 years. I thought I was doing Drs. Bingham and Winston a service when I told them how bad it was. Nothing changed. They are nice guys and I wish them well, but I have lost confidence in their practice.

Dr. Dowden has always been such a great doctor. So compassionate and so understanding. Now, I see Blake, the nurse practitioner there and she's awesome. She listens to my issues and talks me through the solutions. Staff is amazing and efficient as well. Thank y'all

Most recently I was in need of seeing my PCP immediately and was able to get an appointment within an hour of calling. I was able to see Dr. Dowden who took great care of me as well as the clinic staff. In and out of the office in less than an hour, receiving efficient, quality care. Thank you to the staff, you all made my visit pleasant when I did not feel my best!

Staff is just ridiculous. You can not put them and professionalism in the same sentence. Officies are dirty - unacceptable. You will not get a call back no matter what, so just keep on calling them and hope that person you need is there and willing to talk.

I really like Blake Higgins, one of the Physician Assistant at FPA. My other favorite was Francis Fuller, but she recently retired. Both of these ladies have taken excellent care of me!
