James D. Pollard, M.D.

Dr. Pollard is the sweetest, kindest, and most knowledgeable OBGYN with the absolute best bedside manner. He delivered my first child exactly 5 years ago and he always made my husband and I feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable. Weve had 2 more babies in a different state since, but weve always said wed have just one more baby if Dr. Pollard would be the one to deliver them He and his amazing staff deserve all the 5 stars in the world.

Will not recommend one of the receptionist said we missed the 8 to10 minute window. It was a little after 24 after the appointment was at 315. Never the less she would not take us after driving from Florida. This is not the way to get customers with a rude receptionist. I supposedly will not be charged for the visit but I wouldn't be surprised if I am. I work for one of the largest companies in the world and we do not treat our customers this way, needless to say I will tell people not to come by the office with the unprofessional attitude I experienced today.

Today the receptionist was rude to me. She didn't even care bout why I was late. I could have blown up my tire and I explained that I was on my way there. I was like 5 mins away. I called to let her know soon as I got done checking the tire pressure because it went off while I was 5 mins away. I get to the place by 3:08 p.m. like she told me then got lost trying to find the elevator. I was late because I was hurrying to be on time. So I chose not to reschedule bc of Ms rudeness.

I lived in AL for a little over a year. Dr. Pollard was wonderful. Very personable and made me feel comfortable. Best OBGYN I have EVER had. If I have another child I'm tempted to live in AL during my pregnancy just to have him again.
