David said it would take 2 weeks to build, it took almost 2 months(understandably some of that is weather) Started out very good, was timely, answered every call and text, and kept me in the loop. Gave him his last check and the next day it rained and my two garage doors(that were not install as insulated doors originally and delayed me from operating my business) both leak badly underneath. Multiple spots of metal trim not nailed correctly(1 nail every 12), so when the heat hits it it swells and bends. Once I let him know these issues he completely fell off the radar. Wont answer and text or phone calls and now has blocked my number. Found a link to a possible fix for the leaky doors ($120ish) and told him Id gladly install if hed buy....nothing. During the build he tried multiple times to fool me in saying that we had had a conversation and that I chose this or that, but in 100% reality he forgot and just went with it. Had a game plan with him and electrician on what I wanted vs what was budgeted for me and went with the budget price and he told electrician to do extra switches and separate circuits after I left. He then tried to charge me the added cost of doing so! He literally said,I was just going to try and charge you and if you didnt want to pay for it Id eat the cost. Who operates this way?? He is horrible at doing the small detail items in building a structure. I would not recommend him (David) one bit. He is not trustworthy and in my view has zero integrity.

AAA Garage Builders and Electric enter in contractor to build a detached garage.  AAA Garage Builders finished the project and did not comply with residential building code or contractual agreement while damaging my property.  AAA Garage Builders obtained a permit from Madison City Building Department, Alabama. Madison Building Department enforces 2006 International Residential Code (IRC).  Madison Building Department stated, "It is from my observation that the contractor had the intent of maintaining the 1/8" slope required by the American Concrete Institute, but by either using form boards with sags in them or not properly working in concrete the contractor failed to maintain the slope causing the pool to form".  AAA Garage Builders' finished product violates IRC R401.3 Drainage and R506.1 Minimum Slab.    AAA Garage Builders contract required capping of sprinklers located within the garage and driveway concrete area.  Foundation has water squirting out of a 12 inch thick foundation, clearly contract violation. Finally,  AAA Garage Builders' admitted damaging sprinkler wire.  AAA Garage Builders' quote from BBB complaint response,  "The first post that was removed in taking down the fence had a wire running through it embedded in the concrete on the post. This is the only spot that was broken by us". AAA Garage Builders did not repair teh damage. In repairing the sprinkler wire the finding determined AAA Garage Builders' damaged the sprinkler wire under concrete from the house to garaged door. The above facts justifies the one star rating.Reference:International Residential Codes: R401.3 Drainage. Surface drainage shall be diverted to a storm sewer conveyance or other approved point of collection so as to not create a hazard. Lots shall be graded to drain surface water away from foundation walls. The grade shall fall a minimum of 6 inches (152mm) within the first 10 feet (3048mm).R506.1 General. Concrete slab-on-ground floors shall be a minimum 3.5 inches (89 mm) thick (for expansive soils, see Section R403.1.8). The specified compressive strength of concrete shall be as set forth in Section R402.2.

We hired AAA to put a new roof on our home and business after substantial hail damage.  Home roof was fine, but of course that's because he subcontracted it out to another company, thank goodness.  Our business roof has been a mess ever since.  Leaks in various spots every time it rains.  We also had replacing rotten boards in the contract.  Guess what...  My husband went up on the roof while they were putting it on and said something to his workers about how they were roofing right over the rotten spots and he was told that that was what they do.  My husband talked to the owner and they came in and replaced the rotten areas my husband pointed out.  Unfortunately, some of the roof had already been completed so we had no way of knowing that they had went right over other areas.  Now, we are remodeling and front corner of our roof (one of the areas we didn't catch) is completely rotted through the roof and down into the overhanging.  My husband called the owner to talk to him about it (it would probably only cost about $300 to fix) and the owner hung up him.  We visited his office and was told that there was only a one year guarantee and to never come on his property again.  Two of AAA employees met my husband outside and told him it wasn't worth it.  Told us how shady their boss is.  I highly advise against doing business with this company.
