My experience with Randy was awful!!! He has bad ratings and he has earned every one of them. His work is terrible and left us in a mess too. As others have said, Randy does not finish what is promised and once he is paid, he is gone and does not stand behind his work. Im not sure if he does not know what he is doing or just careless work.

WARNING. My experience with Randy has been awful. Full of excuses and poor workmanship. Will not finish the job. Will not back his work up. He will take your money and leave you in a mess. Trust me, this guy is unreliable and should be avoided.

Well we learned our lesson. We definitely should have read online reviews before hiring Randy Martin. Every review you see online is spot on. He took advantage of the fact that I was hospitalized for a month due to preterm labor when he was finishing our bathroom remodel. He hounded is about payment and we paid him in full without a thorough inspection. Now the grout is literally falling out of the shower and coming up from the floor. The floor tiles are all loose and we have discovered he didnt even use the proper backing and simply installed tile floor over wood subfloor and shower tile over drywall. We are going to have to completely gut the bathroom and start from scratch. This is a nightmare. We are going to pursue all avenues to recoup our money and I would encourage all the other reviewers here to do the same. You can file a complaint with the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board and BBB, among other things. I will be looking into small claims court tomorrow, and if that doesnt work we will likely hire and attorney as this was a large sum of money. I am completely sick over this whole situation.
