Very pleased with recent porch enclosure. Once material arrived, installation was quick/efficient. Site was cleaned up at the end of each day.

This is the most awful business that my mom who is 82 years old has EVER dealt with. For months she has been trying to get her bathtub replaced. Nothing but a mess. Workers DO NOT show up at scheduled appointments. Cant even get anyone to answer on the business phone number. I would not recommend anyone using this company! Mr. Jackson has received several thousand dollars and now her bathroom has been nothing but a mess for months. She cant even use it! Every missed appointment has been documented and lots of pictures of this mess!

I called M.A. Jackson to work on a deck project at a home on Smith Lake, making repairs to one deck and rebuilding another. They came out and seemed knowledgeable and had a good feel for what I wanted. Unfortunately, things fell apart from there. I was promised a proposal the following Monday and didn't receive it. I called multiple times leaving messages with no reply. Eventually, after weeks of this I received a brief e-mail saying only that they were unable to do my project. No explanation. Very disappointing. Wasted a lot of my time and put my project way behind schedule. So if you contact them for a project of your own, be aware. If they're not being responsive, I suggest you move on to someone else.

When we met to review the scope of job to enclose our porch (replace screening with windows and doors and install flooring) excuse for delay was supplier issues getting glass. Understandable to a point, but poor communication and we had to chase down answers. Work was subpar and over priced. VP Flooring (which we had to purchase ourselves and is of good quality) is coming up in places after less than a year. Caulking is done so poorly that it is in blobs and in some places we had to fix ourselves. All fixed glass window panes leak. Been contacting Jackson to ask for repairs to be done for over 6 months and when we do reach someone we are told we are on the list for repairs theyll contact us, but this has been going on for 6 months, we know they arent going to fix anything. Not worth the premium price or aggravation. Service: Home addition construction
