        I went to Talbots today to buy an item for my wife Christmas present. The lady that waited on me was very nice and extremely helpful. She helped me to locate the right gift that wife will love, and of course that will make me look good. I was even impressed with the precise way and she that she wrapped the item in paper before putting it in the bag, All the way around an enjoyable experience

        Did not have a great shopping experience. The First Lady that greeted and helped me was extremely sweet and helpful but the lady that checked me out was extremely rude. If I didnt have a store credit I probably would have not bought anything.

        I am a long-time shopper at Talbots and have never had the negative experiences with the in store shopping at other locations that I have had at this site. These negative experiences have occurred with multiple staff across several visits and have included store staff negatively commenting on body size/shape, asking me to remove my mask, negative comments about what they perceived my economic status to be, and scolding me for following the directions Talbots has online for making in person returns.
