This is my grandmothers church before she had memory loss. They treated her with the utmost respect and love. It was family. Shes since moved out of state and into the care of my mom but, Pastor Tyus continues to send birthday flowers and even a FaceTime call to surprise her with his wife, First Lady Tyus! My grandmother cried tears of joy. His teaching is of The Word of God, and he speaks to the people in language they can understand - he translates the tongues! I really like Pastor Tyus and his ministry - continue to be led by God! PS the building is beautiful too. I love yall. Dri (Ja Mie)

Rev. Dr. James V. Tyus, Jr. is a true man of God. If you want to be taught by a man of God that lives what he preach and teach come visit Galilee Baptist Church. Our Music Ministry under the leadership of Elder T. Deon Caldwell, is one of Praise and Worship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our songs always matches our Pastor message.
