This is such an awesome place to stay at in time of need. It is very hard to get in but they try to accommodate you as best as possible. You cant take food or drinks in the rooms but thats understandable. The rooms are pretty nice. I also felt safe walking from there to the hospital at all hours of the night to feed my baby.

They discriminate against parents of NAS babies. This couple I know passed the background check and were approved for a room in September of 2022. Then were told they couldn't stay because they were on MAT (treatment for addiction) under a doctor's care with a prescription for Suboxone. These parents had been clean for 2 years with the help of Suboxone and were treated like they were garbage because they were getting help for their addiction.

I cannot express my sincere thanks enough to the staff and volunteers. The clean rooms, food and kind words helped so much during a difficult time. Staying near the hospital during treatment was such a blessing for us.
