Envy Nails

I dont usually write reviews. I went in to have my dip polish soaked off. Some nails had tips on them. She cut them and pried them off, which hurt, and ripped off some of my natural nail. The natural nail that was left wasnt properly filed, there are jagged pieces on the end of several nails. She left my station in the middle of my service to replace a nail of someone who came in who must have been one of her regulars. I will not be back.

Anna is my manicurist she does a great job on your nails and also with a pedicure.

guy was smoking a cig outside and didn't wash his hands after he came in to do my nails. I had to wash my hands like 5 times at home to get rid of the smell. He cut and shaped them incredibly poorly. i could have done a better job myself Service: Manicure

There was an older man who did my nails with dip powder with tips and it was just terrible. The nails were crooked. The wrong size and he didnt even touch my cuticles but kept burning my finger with the electric file. He didnt flinch when I kept saying it hurt. I think others that work here are much better but unfortunately they allow anyone apparently to get their nails done here. I rarely leave reviews but this was disappointing. By the end, I didnt even want him to fix it because it took OVER AN HOUR when it should have taken much less time. Services: Acrylic nails, Dip powder, Manicure

Im Actually mind blown that this place is in Mountainbrook. I just assumed it would be beautiful because of that alone. When I walked in, I wasnt greeted for a few minutes. In that time period I almost turned around and walked out. Honestly it didnt really look too cleanly. I really wish I would have. The person who did my nails wasnt too concerned about filing my skin while removing the prior nail polish. Also, I have been getting my nails done my entire life and they have never been put in a plastic glove and sealed in there the way they had them. My fingers were pulsating, it was strange. All I had done was a manicure. My nails look WAY better then when I came in, however I still have hanging pieces of skin around the tops and side of nails. ( see picture). The place could definitely use some cleaning and updating. Unfortunately I will not be going back even though its walking distance from my house.
