Tony's Hot Dogs

I finally visited Tony's and well, it was just OK. My office has been near there for 20 years and my business partner has always loved it. It definitely has that old-style hot dog joint vibe. I went in about 2pm for a bacon Swiss burger and onion rings. First off, don't believe the prices on most of the Tony's menus you'll find online - most are either very old or just wrong. The food was good but nothing special. Counter service was quick but they weren't super helpful or very friendly, though there were only a few diners there. And I spent $20.00 for a burger & onion rings - definitely not a cheap lunch. To compare: the day before I had an outstanding sit-down lunch at Nori (2 catfish filets and a ginger salad, beautifully cooked and presented) for about the same price, for more food. I love a good greasy burger once in a while, but I think this place is overpriced for what it is.

The bacon cheeseburger with Cajun seasoning is amazing. They're always busy and seating is kinda limited.
