I posted a review eight months ago about the phenomenal experience Liz, my sister-in-law from Conroe, Texas, had with Dr. Dorroh. I'm glad now to share my own experience. I live near New Orleans, Louisiana. Hurricane Ida damaged my home severely. I evacuated to Houston for several months. During that time, I made an appointment with Dr. Dorroh for an evaluation. I was so blessed by Dr. Dorrohs and his staffs high standard of quality, personalized care; provision of the latest technology and equipment and Dr. Dorrohs assessment and recommendations. I was considering orthodontic treatment back home with Invisalign, as I needed to correct issues with my teeth and bite. I also wanted to know if I needed a new night guard. The intraoral camera that Dr. Dorroh and Ellie used gave me a view of each tooth magnified on a screen so I could understand better Dr. Dorrohs assessment. That helped me make a more informed decision about my oral healthcare. Dr. Dorroh believed it was in my best interest to start orthodontic treatment as soon as possible to correct and protect my teeth and for me to also consider braces, not just Invisalign. Dr. Dorroh told me that he had seen outstanding results on some patients who opted for braces, because they may not have been able to get the same results with Invisalign. I wouldnt be able to wear the night guard with the orthodontic treatment, so it was not necessary to invest in a new night guard. I place great value on Dr. Dorrohs exceptional knowledge, skill and care. I also place great value on the wonderful care that Vickie and Amy provide running the front office, answering questions, helping with insurance, and making you feel so welcomed. Dr. Dorroh and the staff want to do everything to make your visit pleasant and productive. I believe Dr. Dorrohs extensive training, continuing education, outstanding skill and experience, and provision of a great staff offer you the best possible experience, environment, and results. While still in Houston, my time for my teeth cleaning came due, so I made another appointment with Dr. Dorroh. Mary Beth was my dental hygienist. I have never had my teeth cleaned so thoroughly or a hygienist so knowledgeable. May Beth also did a periodontal exam in which she measured each periodontal pocket in millimeters. The deeper the pockets, the higher the risk for gum disease. Preventive care and following your dentists and hygienists recommendations can help tremendously. I had never had a periodontal exam done with a probe to measure the depth of the pocket. It did not hurt at all. I do my best to take excellent care of my teeth but learned I could do more or do differently. Dr. Dorroh and his staff are the best Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting for dental services. I have complete trust in their excellent, educational treatment at every visit. Im back home in Louisiana. Im now wearing braces that are already providing me with wonderful results. Ill wear braces into next year. When taken off, I will have other needed dental work done. My orthodontist is also giving me the highest quality care. She approaches diagnosis, treatment, and care like Dr. Dorroh. After seeing Dr. Dorroh, I knew what I wanted in a dental professionals services. At my appointment, Dr. Dorroh had showed me one of his study models that he created and used to develop a treatment plan to help a patient in achieving the greatest benefits possible. My orthodontist also creates study models of patients teeth if helpful in developing a treatment plan. It was interesting to see a replica of my teeth in a skeleton head as my orthodontist explained about malocclusion and correcting my bite. She had put wax or something like it in my mouth to make the model. I look forward to going for future services with Dr. Dorroh and staff the next time I'm able to visit my relatives in Houston. I'm grateful for all that Dr. Dorroh and his staff have done to help, guide and encourage me. It means so much to have people you can trust.
