Be careful who you work with. Dagney Johnson came onto my friend's case wherein he was seeking full custody of his minor children in Judge Patricia Stephens' courtroom. Dagney claimed that she was good friends with Judge Stephens and that she had a great deal of confidence that she could win the case, especially since her client had maintained ex parte custody of his minor children due to their mother's attempted suicides and mental health issues for a period of almost two years. Instead, Dagney lost the case and, when pressed, told the father that she knew Patricia Stephens had a reputatino for separating father's from their children, which she did NOT tell the father until he lost custody and did NOT advise him of this when the option to use a private judge in his case was presented to him. She then told the father that she would help him out pro se for a while because she felt so horrible about the children being removed from his custody (the eldest child against his will) then completely ghosted him, sent an e-mail at his request to the mother's attorneys with completely inaccurate information claiming things that her client had never told her, neglected to respond to his email to her asking why this had happened and didn't bother to speak with him again for months until I posted something tagging Patricia Stephens on Facebook about her order, at which point Dagney panicked and emailed her client asking about the post. She has not spoken to him since and that was in April of this year (2023).

As someone enduring one of the most difficult traumas/tragedies in my life, Dagney (personally) has gone out of her way to make sure I will be ok. The efficiency, effectiveness & empathy extended towards my legally illiterate self is beyond appreciated, and I highly recommend. Her paralegal Dennis is wonderful as well.

Mrs. Johnson was able to accommodate me this past Wednesday morning with an emergency hearing at 2 pm. I was expecting it to get continued and she settled my case within hours. Im not sure if she is a magician or an angel sent straight from heaven, but I had an attorney before her who sat on the case for TWO years and literally did nothing. Her paralegal, Dennis, is amazing at what he does and the two of them make an outstanding team. Top notch!! You wont find anyone better, in my opinion. If you want results, she is the Lady who will make it happen. I had been alienated from my children with supervised visits for the last year and I am picking them up from school today. It is a miracle what she did for me. I will always be forever grateful for Dagney and Dennis.
