The staff at this office is sad. Fox 6 news investigation team needs to investigate section office. Everything about the staff is wrong.

I am going to leave this comment here & also under its affiliates as well.
Section 8: With HABD (The City)
1. They do not tell you that most vouchers that are accepted are only County & Bessemer.
2. It takes months for an inspection
3. You have approximately 90 days to use your voucher or LOSE it. They will not assist you after.
4. The communication is poor because they issue vouchers monthly. Therefore, you have thousands of people searching for units and they are limited.
The staff and supervisors have poor communication & attitudes as if you ask them to apply. I suggest keep everything and report all issues to the state & HUD maybe they will then hire knowledgeable people.

They always losing money orders and no one ever says nothing but this is the second year I have to put up with them losing my money orders its not fair and I want to speak with someone over them cause everybody sticks together in the office and no one helps when they are the ones thats wrong and non helpful

These ppl needs to be investigated.. Since the pandemic, they've been selling emergency vouchers, stealing utility checks and everything else under the sun..I've reached out to districts and all, but no one seems to care...my next call is going to be Washington as well as a news post because this isn't right at all!!!
