        I felt it was a good room, comfy bed. What was not good! I am an older person. There were no grab bars in the shower tub area, and the tub surface had no grip. Taking a shower was scary. That pretty much took my happy with the room, to it was a bad experience. Safety: No Grab bars in tub shower!

        My husband broke out all over his back, arms and legs immediately after our stay. After several days of enduring horrible itching and subsequent pus oozing bumps, he goes to the doctor and was diagnosed as being the victim of bed bugs! When we called the hotel management, they were very dismissive and denied that there could possibly be a problem since "other guests are staying in the room right now with no complaints." As if that wasn't enough, I left my prescription (designer) glasses in the room but was told that none had been found. I am certain that I left them there, so I can only assume that the maid did not turn them in to the front desk. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.

        You get what you pay for. It's a cheap hotel, so don't expect anything fancy. It felt decently clean, safe, and the breakfast was all satisfactory to our family. The areas of improvement would be: the A/C didn't run well through the night, so we woke up (both nights) in a sweat. And only half of the outlets on the nightstand work. Other minor concerns: shower needed a mold/mildew treatment & the shower head needed to be replaced (so that the water dispensed properly). Rooms: Clean & overall decent Nearby activities: 10 minutes from downtown Birmingham Safety: Felt safe & located in a safe area

      Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at our hotel.On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations. I can also confirm that pest control had been called in soon after your call to check this room although a guest had been staying in their since 10/31/17 and only check out on 11/5/17, pest control also confirmed that nothing was present or observed in this room. I do however sympathize with your husband's condition. We also checked the lost and found log and additionally checked all housekeeping carts but no glasses were found. We do have various items left in rooms and the front desk staff will contact guest immediately to inform them of any items found and so that if they are nearby can come and collect items left behind.Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future.I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.
