Today we laid my Aunt Sara Dates to rest and the Davenport & Harris Funeral service staff was professional, personable, and supportive of my grieving family. During the service they were ushers and the processional to the cemetery was all the rave. I have 35 years in law enforcement and the way the two officers handled that traffic which was heavy at times was AWESOME! The flashing lights and the sirens were used when needed. I mean not blaring until needed at the intersections. Great job deputies (Jefferson County Sheriff's Office). Thank you Davenport & Harris for your care.

Incredibly kind and very helpful for us after losing our son. Everyone we spoke with exuded the fruits of the Spirit. It was clear that they knew how to work with people during their lowest, darkest days and to iron out details that are necessary but hard due to the timing. We are very grateful for the care and patience they provided.

Davenport and Harris funeral home is one of the greatest funeral homes in the city. I have had the pleasure of entrust them with final remains of my beloved family members. Mr.Strling and his staff been so kind and caring towards me and my family everything I have had to deal with the establishment for all funeral Needy. They all ways greet uou with a smile and a helpful hand.

My Grandma passed away a week ago. And when my Auntie sent me the photo of her. This was literally the best work I have seen from anyone that has passed away. She did not look 88. The makeup was flawless. The dress was beautiful. Her hair was on point. Whoever is the stylist and makeup artist for thin company please keep them.

My son died unexpectedly on July 15th and was brought to this funeral home. We live in Florida and my son passed away in Alabama. Mr. Sterling handled all of the arrangements for a cremation. He went above and beyond to help this grieving mother. He also had my sons ashes sent to me and followed up to make sure I received the ashes. I would wholeheartedly recommend this funeral home.
