        Just had my wedding at Avenue D, and I couldn't be happier! The size of this venue is just right, the owners (Laura & Chuck) are amazing and care for each event on a personal level, and the space is so beautiful. Their bridal suite on the 2nd floor gives you not only a fantastic spot to get ready all day, but my husband and I were able to use it as a quiet refuge to eat dinner before our reception began. We had a ceremony earlier in the day on the back patio, and it was an ideal spot for the intimate moment with immediate family. The reception was both indoor and outdoor, and - though we had approx. 175 people - it never once felt cramped! Tables, a 5-piece band, dancefloor, multiple bars, food stations, a photobooth, everything. This venue is also in a great location, too. It has tons of parking, is safe, and has a beautiful view of Sloss. Also, if any wedding planners are reading this - the owners are AWESOME about coordinating and communicating with your other vendors when needed. They make your job a whole lot easier, and they're very hands-on the day-of. I will always recommend this place to people in the future - for whatever type of event they're having! Also, have ya SEEN THE BATHROOMS?! Obsessed.

        This venue is AMAZING! We hosted a sorority formal here and I could not have imaged a better place. The people who work at the venue work with you every step of the way and will accommodate as much as they can and give out several resources. Such a beautiful venue is downtown Birmingham and in my opinion the best!! Thank you Ave D!!!
