I loved my doctor. His name is Dr. Hernando Carter. He is a very special person. I hear people complain about their doctor and how much they have to find a new one. I was taking care of my sister. We went to St. Vincent's, and her doctor moved from the Southside to highway 119. I will not say anything more. I called her insurance company and asked them if they could help me find a new doctor. Boy, were our prayers answered. I also became one of his patients with my sister. Our medical, and everyday lives changed . My mom always said that God put people in your life for a reason and season. Dr Carter was both for us. He treated her with so much compassion and and love. My sister transitioned in 2020. He called me to find out everything and to give me his heartfelt condolences. I felt we would be connected as a team of patient and doctor until things changed. Things changed and at my visit he informed me he would be leaving. I was crushed. I have not been the same. To the clinic and new patients who got him. You received a very special and rare gem. Be blessed. I miss my doctor. Please start accepting Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I want my doctor back. w . answered.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carter since 2016. He is a great doctor and a wonderful staff. He is knowledgeable and he takes time to talk to you. I have called his office with a health issue and his staff has gotten me in to see Dr. Carter the same day. When he comes into the exam room his first question is how are you, what's going on? He listens and talks to you. He is leaving I will miss him and his staff dearly, thank you all for being great health care providers . Wishing Dr. Carter and his staff the best.
