1). She upcharged for a curl/flat iron style on top of the blowout. Per Ultas website a blowout includes; wash, dry, thermal style. I dont know if this was a mistake or intentional, but I didnt bother to look until I was at the register because I get blowouts 2x a week at my local Ulta, and its always $42 before tip. The manager fixed it, but still.
2). I dont know what she put in my hair, but when she said styling mousse for textureit left my hair feeling like it was blow dried with shampoo still in it. I raked through my ends while in line and put it up in a clip to check out. I got to my car and went to rake through the whole length, and my scalp and upper hair are so sticky, its like why did I get a blowout. Immediately no, its getting washed at home ASAP.
Overall, it was not a good service technically speaking. I get better blowouts at my local Ulta in the middle of nowhere Southeast Alabama.
0/10 I do not recommend this stylist, unless you know exactly what you need in your hair before the service starts AND make sure you know what you are getting charged for. Hopefully she can improve on these things.
