This place is an absolute joke. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. The staff is unbelievably rude, and they charge exorbitant fees and will put a lien on your property if you dare speak or look at them the wrong way. If youre looking at buying a property in this community, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Mark my words, you will regret buying a property while having these people manage the HOA. They are the absolute worst in the industry. They need to be held accountable for their actions! DONT LIVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!

Grounds are poorly maintained management is hard to contact and when you do they are extremely rude Pool is subpar at best and the gym is a joke FEES and assessments are obviously not used on the community Would give 0 stars if I could. Honestly this place embezzled money. They have a budget of more thank 200k a year. Take a drive. Does it look like 250$ a month per unit here? Then to be treated like the owners dont matter For 250$ a month I shouldnt need an alignment every 2 months becase of how bad the roads are And the staff. Oh dont even get me started. Their favorite line is I dont work for you. Well if the home owners association doesnt work for the homeowners who do they work for ?

Now that my (very kind and lovely) prior landlord has sold the condo that I used to live in, I can finally leave the review Ive been sitting on since December of last year. The blatant and unapologetically unethical behavior of the HOA makes this community a nightmare to live in. There is a guy who rides around on a golf cart whose sole purpose is to look for things to fine you for. He does this all day long and he has no problem with literally walking up the stairs onto your porch to look around for things that can be labeled as trash so that they can fine you $350 for it. We once had personal property (small gardening tools) stolen from our porch by the HOA. This was NOT trash and was stored neatly on a shelf. We were fined $250 plus a $100 cleanup fee for this. We were fined again for accidentally throwing a small broken down cardboard box (big enough for a single pair of socks) in the wrong trash receptacle on accident- $350. They will never warn you or ask you to move anything before they fine you (how would they get their money otherwise?). We paid over $700 in FINES in 7 months and we were quiet, clean, and responsible tenants. Based on other reviews, it is clear that this is a widespread issue. I have no idea where this money could be going. They are clearly not doing repairs with it because the property looks terrible and half the gym equipment doesnt work. My only guess is that theyre lining their pockets with it. There is actual criminal behavior happening at Horizon Condominiums. Do not rent a unit here and ESPECIALLY do not purchase a unit here. On top of the HOA problems, these units were not built to last. There are dead end water lines that are not insulated and rotting wood everywhere you look. Our kitchen ceiling fell to the floor on Christmas Eve because of burst pipes that were not insulated whatsoever. Each of these units is a disaster waiting to happen and youre in for a rude awakening if you think the HOA will be of any help to you. You have been warned.

i would give this place zero stars if i could - don't EVEN get me started on how rude, self-centered, slimy, and greedy the management here is. i truly have no idea what they get paid to do other than exploit the community & look for ways to take advantage of people for their money. the office is always closed, and it's a very clear inconvenience to them to actually *manage* they will charge you $500 just for the fact that the wind blew wrong in their direction and the communication is pretty much non-existent except for when they're billing you for something that wasn't even a violation in the first place not to mention when some friends of mine lived here, they wouldn't comply to provide needed documentation for them to sell their place which resulted in buyers backing out and even more money wasted. so unless you hate yourself or would like to throw your money down the literal drain for no reason you should never live here someone needs to investigate this place bc there is some Netflix documentary level scamming & exploitation happening here thank you very much
