Ridout's Forest Crest Cemetery

My mother and father passed away many years ago and the only problem was the markers not placed at ground level and the lawn mowers chipping them (i personally corrected the problem). My sister passed away 11/2022. Her marker was purchased 11/2022 and finally installed 10/2023 (above ground level). I asked if they could move the marker to ground level and fill in a low spot over one of the graves. They did nothing to my sister marker but moved my mothers marker above ground level. Instead of filling the low spot with soil, they dumped a truck load of groundup asphalt over the entire four lots. I'm sure grass will not grow in it and will kill the grass under it. The cemetery looks terrible! Broken markers where equipment has run over them, graves with bricks around them, gravel on some where the soil is washing away. Just heart breaking to see.

Still waiting on a marker order in March. Checked on my husbands marker in May to find out it was not ordered. Ordered it again May 11 and was told would be in 3 weeks. Did not come in until July 28 and it was not the correct one and the date of death was wrong. Ordered again July 31 and was told would be in that weekend. August 21 still waiting for the marker. The people do not know what they are doing and they do not tell you the truth. DO NOT USE THIS CEMENTARY! It is not worth having to deal with the heartache of losing someone and dealing with incompetent people.

Someone recently buried on parents lot. Called Monday person I spoke with would call me with info. Wednesday since no call received spoke with woman, she was going to have person I spoke with return call. Today being Friday more than enough time waiting on call. Called back spoke to woman from Wednesday. Apparent person from Monday has information I want. She will call me when finished with custom phone. Seriously this place is poorly managed and still I have no answer as who and why someone else buried on parents grave.

My mother passed away 2 years ago and her death date has still not been added to her marker. I have contacted the office multiple times and nothing has been done yet! I'm very disappointed with the service I have received. It is hard enough to bury a loved one but when you have to deal with incompetence on top of that, it is too much for anyone to deal with!
