Chase Bank

Had a check fraudulently cashed so I went into the branch to get my account sorted out and changed. Whitney was very helpful, professional, and quick! I got account changed, checks ordered, and out the door in less than 20 minutes.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Ive banked with Chase my entire life, and my experience at this branch is enough to make me leave. Sat there for an hour waiting for help, and they tell me they cant help because it was time for them to close. People literally sitting there not helping anyone, had every opportunity to help, and didnt. So I now have to take more time out of another day to go back to the bank because they were too lazy to do their job. Taking my business to regions. Dont waste your time here. The incompetence is next level. PS - Learn the difference between an ACH and a Wire. They arent the same thing.

Please don't put your money in this bank it's the worst ever. I took all of my money out read the reviews on the Internet. I didnt believe it until it happened to me.

I would give a minus zero if it was possible. Worst customer service ever. No way to get any reliable or honest assistance if you have to call with account problems. Luckily I only have one account & will close it.

I lived in Chicago for a few years and banked with Chase so I was excited when they entered the Alabama market. I quickly closed my existing account and switched to Chase. That was a mistake based on the incompetence and poor customer service I encountered last week at the Birmingham branch. I went into the bank to make a simple depositapproximately $1400 in cash and a $400 refund from a dentist (written on Chase Bank). The teller greeted me warmly and then couldnt perform the simple transaction. He asked me to go to the other teller and he also ran into problems. The first teller came over and they started whispering and pointing to the screen. After about 15-20 minutes they said they couldnt accept the check because it wasnt in the ledger. A senior cashier came in and was rude and basically said they could not take this check. They made me feel like I had stollen the check! I left, called the dental office, and they had no idea why the bank wouldnt take the check. They said this was their normal process and it had never happened before. I then called the Chase customer service number and they had no idea why this branch would not take the check. They advised me to electronically deposit the check which I did and it was accepted. I will never go back into the Birmingham Chase bank for any reason. Almost all of my banking is done electronically and there is no need. I may close the account and return to my previous bank as clearly this is not the same bank as the one in Chicago.
