Mrs. Israel showed great customer service, very genuine, and passionate about helping her community heal through herbs and food. I loved eating the Kaleicious wrap very flavorful. Also, if you are just transitioning into a plant based diet she has great resources and food items that make you feel like youre not missing out. If you want to heal, feel vibrant and energized its time we choose better food options and the Good Health Cafe helps us do just that! It is possible to eat good and feel even better! Kid-friendliness: My toddlers also enjoy eating plant based meals!

At first I thought they were closed but I called the phone number and the door opened to Great food and had a great conversation with the owner. Definitely going back!

Bessemer is a gritty industrial area. Imagine our surprise at finding the best vegan restaurant of our lives there. We shared the mushroom burger and chic'un burrito. Burger and just about everything else homemade. The best we've had anywhere. We had sides of field peas and (baked) sweet potato fries. She does not fry, just bake. It was a wait because it's only the owner/chef and people walk in and call for carryout. Well worth the wait. She calls it "vegan soul food". So delicious and hearty.
